YOU are a trophy of God's grace.
He has chosen YOU.
He has called YOU.
& He wants to use YOU.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
Your story is no longer your own, it is His and He wants you to use your life to bring Him glory. (Isaiah 43:7) Bringing Him glory means pointing others to Him in all that you do. At home, at work, with your family, with your friends. In the secret, in the light, in the dark. In your car, in your home, in the office. No matter if you are alone or surrounded by people your number one goal is to bring God glory.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ponder on this question today sister --> When others see you, do they see the glory of God?
I really believe their are two types of people:

Some people have a bend towards laziness. They need goals and a challenge, because for them it’s easy to take their foot off the gas and just call it a day. It’s easy for them to say they’re committed and the next day, just give up.

Some people have a bend towards overworking. They have a hard time turning their brain off. Setting big goals can be dangerous for them because if they don’t hit them they are CRUSHED. They tend to strive and work from a place of constantly proving themselves.

I have found that I tend to flip flop between the two depending on the season of life. Both of these have healthy parts and unhealthy parts and it’s important for us to be aware of where we are so we can make sure that the things we commit to are in line with what WE NEED.

For the girl who struggles with striving and restriction, she may need to stay away from an intense challenge because it’s a slippery slope for her mindset.

For the girl who struggles with laziness, she may need a challenge + strict plan to get her back on course. A challenge may be life giving to her in this season and help with overcoming the mindset of “I can never complete anything” or “I will never feel good in my own skin again.”

Here’s what I have found FOR ME: I need a challenge in this season and the accountability of “going all in.”

So today was day 1 of the #30daychallenge we are calling JUST DO HARD THINGS.

Because sometimes we just need to buckle down and do the thing. It’s about mental toughness.

This 30 day challenge is a shortened version of 75 hard. So we are committing to:

One 45 minute workout a day inside
One 45 minute workout a day outside (a walk for me!)
One gallon of water a day
Sticking to my meal plan
Reading 10 minutes a day
Taking a daily progress photo

Again- not because I am not happy with my body, in fact I AM PROUD OF MY BODY! That’s why I am committing, to show myself I CAN do hard things!

Cheers to day 1.
YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS TOO SIS.

So tell me- what is your bend towards?!
Undeserving of these amazing people, their love and the gift of stewarding my role as their wife, mother and sister.

BUT GOD.

He’s in the business of loving the undeserving, even to the point of sending His own son to conquer death. He carried every single persons sin and shame as Jesus begged God not to leave Him.

But today we celebrate victory over death! Because He didn’t stay put- HE GOT UP.

He didn’t just suffer death, He CONQUERED it! We now have victory in Christ because death is no longer our greatest fear but our greatest victory. This world is just the pregame and I’ll never get over how God pursues and loves His people! Happy Easter! He is Risen! Hallelujah!
Too many times we get focused on the big picture and the massive goal, instead of being faithful and consistent in the sowing and watering of the seeds.

I love how my friend Patrice Buller puts it, “Our job is faithfulness, God’s is the fruit.”

It is God who makes things flourish and grow. Our job is to show up and do the work, even if the results aren’t what we want.

🌱I know it stinks when your business doesn’t grow as fast as you want.
🌱I know it’s frustrating when the weight doesn’t fall off.
🌱I know it’s exhausting when you don’t see a ton of growth quickly in your mindset.
🌱I know you want to give up when it just feels like all the work your doing isn’t going anywhere.

But know this 👉🏼 your job is to keep going and keep showing up. Surrender the results and ask the Lord for the strength to keep going. He is faithful. Maybe He’s just using this to prune you and make you more reliant on Him.

TAG A FRIEND WHO NEEDS THIS & BE SURE TO SAVE IT FOR LATER!
Today I wanted to introduce you to my friend, community member and coach on our team, @katielolacrockett. 👏🏼

Katie’s story is powerful and I knew it would inspire someone struggling this morning. She was beautiful before and she’s still beautiful! Now she’s just feeling her best and her glow is unstoppable! ✨

Our bodies are a GIFT and while they are one of the many things the Lord gives us to steward during our time here, they are also a catalyst and tool for serving others. We can’t control much but we can control showing up and giving the best we have today!

Here’s a little bit about Katie’s story + how this community have helped her:

“I started doing beachbody because I knew I needed to make a major health change. I didn’t like going to the gym because I didn’t really know what to do, and I had no idea where to even start with nutrition! I so quickly fell in love with the Beachbody workouts! I actually looked forward to getting up in the morning and working out. Diving into the nutrition programs helped me learn how to actually fuel my body with the proper foods rather than restricting myself. My relationship with food has totally and completely changed!

The community that has come along with beachbody has probably made the biggest difference for me! Like-minded women seeking to glorify the Lord with their bodies and helping to keep you accountable to doing the same. It’s something I had never experienced, and now I can’t imagine my life without it!”
