Hey Y'all. Caroline here. Welcome to my blog! I am a wife, mama and fitness coach born and raised in Nashville, TN. I am SUPER passionate about encouraging other women, whether that's through a virtual bootcamp or helping them launch their own fitness business. In my free time you can find me hanging with my husband Brian and little girl Emmaline, leading a small group, or working out in my garage. Every mom wants her daughter to love the skin she is in and be free from insecurity and poor body image. Unfortunately no matter what we tell our daughters most of what they believe is set by the example we live out. Until we see ourselves as good enough, our girls will struggle. I love what our children’s minister said as we were walking through baby dedication, “Our faith and the way we want our children to live is CAUGHT NOT TAUGHT.” I love this quote from Maria Furlough, "We are the confidence standards in our homes. We set the tone and the example of what confidence looks like. Whether we like it or admit it, our daughters notice the way we look at ourselves in the mirror, and they hear us mutter under our breath. The battle is on. We are in the spotlight, and we have a job to do." What we say TO our daughters might last a moment, but what we show our daughters lasts a lifetime! With God's help, we can put aside our obsession with bodily perfection and refocus on becoming and raising godly women! As we head into our day lets keep this at the forefront of our minds. I am in it with you sister! Drop a 🙌🏼 if you’re with me!
I can’t count the number of times I contemplated giving up on Fit for His Glory in the early years of my business. I had no idea what I was doing but I knew I loved fitness and working with women. When I would get down because things weren’t moving quickly or coaches weren’t panning out, I just kept picturing these little faces. I didn’t know what my future babies would look like or what their names would be but I knew I wanted to be home and work this business during naptime. So what did I do? I took giving up off the table. I watched YouTube videos, took Instagram courses, stayed up late and got up early. I gave my absolute best within the nuggets of time I had. I worked really hard but I 100% trusted God with the results and the outcome. I’m not saying I’ve gotten it all right but God has been faithful. I want to encourage you today sister- whatever it is God has called you to, give it your best. Trust His timing, take giving up off the table and KNOW that nothing worth doing will come easy. The journey won’t be easy but in the end you will be thankful for His timing and the lessons you learned along the way.
I wasn’t the girl in high school that was naturally thin. I couldn’t eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound. And now I’m not the mom who naturally drops weight fast from post-partum breastfeeding. Here I am 22 months later and I still have extra weight I haven’t lost. My whole life I have had to FIGHT to stay a healthy weight. Every pound lost has been fought for. And while it has been frustrating at times, I am weirdly thankful. Why? Because at a young age I had to begin developing spiritual disciplines in order to stay healthy. Now those disciplines have carried with me into my walk with Jesus, motherhood and business. Something beautiful happens when we start looking at struggles and frustrations as opportunities to learn, grow and see God work in us. —> What’s something you’re currently walking through that is frustrating you but growing you at the same time? COMMENT BELOW and let’s encourage each other to keep going! ⚡️ Remember- we don’t have to do it on our own, we have the strength of Jesus!
Hey sister, I just want you to know that no one is out there to get you. You CAN cheer someone else on and the best part is, it won’t take away from your success! It’s when we genuinely support and cheer each other on that we experience TRUE community. 🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Instead of just scrolling Instagram and seeing what other people are up to I challenge you to engage, like and comment. Let them know that you are cheering them on, even if it’s just giving them a double tap. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Ladies- we are ALL in this together, just trying to do the absolute best that we can. Just out here living out best cowboy life. 🤠 We’ve been having the best week in Jackson Hole. The past few days have been full but so fun! We did the boat ride at Jenny Lake, hiked to hidden falls and Inspiration point, drove through the park hitting Moose Wilson Road and doing the 45 mile loop. We also did the Bar T 5 Chuckwagon & last night we went to the Rodeo. Big hits with our little cowgirl loving cutie! 🤍 Have you visited Wyoming? If so what’s your favorite thing to do? Comment below!
