This is one of my clients turned coaches @ashton.kornbrust ✨

As a travel nurse for several years, she had the privilege of living in amazing cities, and getting to experience so much culture. With this experience she was always on the go, ENJOYING all of the yummy food, and all sense of routine went out the window.

As you can imagine with that lifestyle comes unwarranted L Bs. As a girl with no direction, all of her attempts to control her weight failed. She was the girl who bought the DVDs, consistently worked out 3 times and QUIT. She tried, she tried a lot, but she always tried alone. It was hard. It was painful. She wasn’t committed.

After leaving her travel career, her life quickly settled down. She recognized she had an opportunity to dive in and really work on her health journey.

She watched me for a year on instagram. She watched me show up early every morning; drinking some kind of magic juice, listening to worship music, reading my Bible, and moving my body. She knew she wanted that kind of routine so she joined me as a client and challenger.

Here’s what she said:

“The first challenge group I jumped into with Caroline changed my life. It taught me that it is so much easier to be consistent when you have accountability. It showed me that I need to work on my relationship with God before I could truly see change in myself.

This challenge group taught me I CAN DO HARD THINGS, but I cannot do them alone.

It’s not about the weight Ive lost, it’s about what Ive gained.
✨A strong relationship with God
✨Supportive friendships in this community
✨A healthy outlook with food
✨An attitude of GET to rather than HAVE to with my workouts.”

Don’t sit in the sidelines too long, start your journey! You’ll be glad you did. YOU can do hard things, but don’t try alone! And for all the coaches thinking you’re not inspiring anyone or questioning people understanding your heart and motives, know that people are watching and you ARE inspiring change in others! 🙌🏼

Stress and anxiety plague many women in our society and in our churches. They feel lost, alone and the next right step feels impossible. So why have we found ourselves here and what are some “red flags” to look out for?

Let me first start off by saying, God is in control and no matter how dark life may seem NOTHING happens without passing through His hands first. (Job 2:3–6)  Some of our pain is self induced and some of our pain is outside of our control, it just happens. No matter what the situation, please know this: you are never too far gone or broken for God’s healing hand. I don’t care if you said no to Him for 20 years, He still wants you and will NEVER give up on pursuing you sister. Even when life feels like it’s not worth living, it’s always worth living if you will make God the Lord of your life. Stop fighting Him and fall into His healing hands. Allow Him to transform your life and use your life for His glory! You have a beautiful story that is unlike anyone else and He can and will use it if you would just allow His transforming power to get to work.

Today I want to talk to the woman who knows and believes God is in control and trusts Him with every aspect of their life, but knows she is not stewarding certain areas of her life to the best of her ability. I wanted to frame that up today because this topic is pretty vast.

Head to the link in my stories to read 3 signs that your “out of control.”

Do me a favor and share your top takeaways below! Your feedback is SO encouraging and helpful!

This just about sums up my focus for the new year. I truly love my life and what God is doing. I am so thankful to be on this great adventure with Him.

What habits are you excited to watch God use in 2021?

Pursue what’s valuable > what’s easy.

If we’re being honest most of us want to take the easy road. We live in a “microwave” society that’s sucked in by the words fast, easy and get ____ in just ____ days. We don’t like the struggle or the journey. We avoid it at all cost!

But here’s the truth: More times than not the good stuff comes out of the hard consistent steps over time.

I love this formula by Darren Hardy the author the of Compound Effect:

Small, Smart Choices + Consistency + Time = CHANGE

Just the other night Brian was making a frozen pizza that was left at our house. As he was waiting on it to cook we started talking about how often he used to eat frozen pizzas but that this was the first time he’d made one in this house. (4 years!) When Brian and I first met in college hungry man meals were about his daily diet. Over time he started studying more and developing a greater passion for real food. It took time but little by little he started swapping foods. He didn’t just randomly decide to give up frozen foods one day. It happened over time and eventually he completely kicked that old habit.

So let me encourage you today to commit to the small steps and long term vision > the short term satisfaction.

What’s one small step you’re committing to this week in your health?

I started my business almost 7 years ago. I was an unlikely success. It took me a lot of hard work, focus, discipline and ultimately consistency to get to where I am today in the business. I have been the definition of advancing at a SNAILS PACE within the Beachbody world. I didn’t wake up one day with a viral post or 5 diamonds under me. I worked really hard for every single follower on IG, coach on my team and client.

So what kept me going when I felt like giving up?

LONG TERM VISION. At the time I launched my business I was newly married. We didn’t have kids yet but I knew one day when we did I wanted to be home. I wanted to decide when I worked and when I didn’t. I wanted to be able to not work when my kids were sick. I wanted to go on the field trip and make memories with my little ones. But guess what? That kind of business wasn’t going to happen over night. So what did I do? I got to work. When I felt like giving up I pictured my life 5 years down the road. I worked for my future kids and what I wanted for them.

I embraced this quote from Dave Ramsey, “If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else.” It’s still on a sticky note on my desktop. Living this out isn’t easy. It takes a lot of perseverance and focus but sister hear this- YOU CAN DO IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH OF JESUS INSIDE OF YOU. When you feel like giving up ask Him for fresh joy, fresh vision and fresh strength to keep going.

I remembered that if I wanted to build something that last I had to build a FIRM FOUNDATION. I’ve seen others around me build quick only for it to crumble the next week. That didn’t happen for me (even though I wanted it to at times) and that’s ok. I’ve built my business on a FIRM FOUNDATION. Not one that crumbles when the world falls apart or life gets hard.

So let me encourage you sister- whatever business God has called you to just steward it well! Give your best, trust Him with the results and know that fast isn’t always best. Keep going. His plans for you are so much better and I can promise on the other side you will be stronger for it.

Praying God uses this to encourage someone today! 🤍👏🏼
This is one of my coaches Erin. She lives in central Illinois with her husband of 7 years, Jason, and their two kiddos, Beau (5) and Elsie (3). They are a farm family, her husband’s in the military, and she is at home full-time with the kids! She signed up for day 1 of her coaching and fitness journey on November 27, 2017 out of a place of needing and wanting “more”. She had just had Elsie and she had that AHA moment where she knew things needed to change. So she drew the line in the sand and never looked back.

Coaching has brought the BEST women into her life, and she says the COMMUNITY that we have is by far the best part of Beachbody. Oh and the exercise and nutrition programs are bomb too (she is down 30 pounds! ). Coaching has changed every aspect of Erin’s life. Her confidence as a wife, ability to be a patient mom, and best of all, it has deepened her walk with the Lord ten-fold.

Do you identify with any part of Erin’s story? I’d love to hear below! Maybe it’s time for you to “draw the line in the sand.” Remember sister- you are NEVER too far gone!

Now drop your favorite emoji in the comments and help me celebrate Erin and her incredible story + progress! 🤍👏🏼✨
