Andrea Rogers – Xtend Barre and XB Sweat + Sculpt

Andrea Rogers is the newest trainer to join the Beachbody. Having recently moved from the Openfit platform to Beachbody on Demand, she brings her successful Xtend Barre and XB Pilates programs over with her.

Who is Andrea Leigh Rogers?

Andrea is a pilates instructor and former professional dancer. She has a super cute and fun personality and has created quite a fan base, amassing over 136,000 followers on instagram @andrealeighrogers. That’s where I first found her!

She brings the energy to all of her workouts and I promise you are going to love her. I am pumped to let you all know that she will also be launching a new program in October 2022 called XB Sweat and Sculpt. So let’s dive in!

Andrea has created several programs over the years which I have listed below. We’ll take a look at a few of her most popular ones later on.

What is Xtend Barre?

Program Information

  • Program length: 30 days
  • Workouts per week: 7
  • Workout length: 30 minutes
  • Workout types: Barre, Pilates, Dance-Cardio
  • Equipment needed: Sturdy Chair or Ballet Barre, Resistance Loops, Light Dumbbells, Mat

Xtend Barre is Andrea Rogers most popular program. Combining Barre with Pilates and high energy cardio-dance, the workouts consist of small, isometric movements with total body sequences to work your entire body from head to toe. 

It’s designed for those wanting to achieve that lean, graceful physique of a dancer without bulking up or having to do high impact workouts, but without needing any previous dance or barre experience, like me!

The program is 30 days long with each workout lasting about 30 minutes. Workouts range from Cardio, Booty, Legs, Ballet Sculpt, and Flexibility & Balance.

What is XB Sweat + Sculpt?

Program Information

  • Program length: 3 weeks
  • Workouts per week: 5
  • Workout length: 30 minutes
  • Workout types: low-impact HIIT, dance-cardio, targeted muscle groups
  • Equipment Needed: 1-3 pound ankle weights, resistance loops.

XB Sweat + Sculpt will be Andrea’s first program exclusively on Beachbody on Demand.

As you will see, Andrea’s upbeat and energetic personality will be on full display. She believes that working out should be fun and effective.

The program is a 3 week, 5 workouts a week type program consisting of dance cardio and targeted strength training. Andrea will alternate between Sweat and Sculpt workouts. 

Now don’t let the dancing part scare you off. It is probably the most fun part of this program. And besides, nobody will be there to see you break it down other than yourself if you workout in front of a mirror. Although if you join my group that will be doing it together in October, we might be sharing some videos of our favorite dance moves from time to time!

Sweat workouts will be high energy, with low impact HIIT movements alternating between cardio-dance intervals.

Sculpt workouts will be slower, controlled movements to target specific areas for more muscle defining exercises.
